Self-pub corner

Presenting #Selfpub Corner (and a super cute button)

I have been thinking for the past few weeks how to best share my experience int he self-publishing world. I have had people reaching out to me and asking me questions. I always try my best to answer and I thought maybe others would also benefit from my experiences: what I learned, what I would do differently and what I will do again for my second release.

So…I will be starting as of next Friday the #Selfpub Corner.

#Selfpub corner button

Isn’t a cute button? I love it. I always admired the ones Jaime created and she told me about PicMonkey. Love it!

Every week or so I will take a different question or angle, such as: how to get reviews, why use Netgalley (if at all), how did I find my editors, my cover designer, and then from times to times I will feature a self-published author asking a few questions or asking them to share their own experience.

Are you a self-published author and would you like to get featured on this new corner of my blog?

Do you have any questions you want me to answer about my experience?

Leave me a comment or don’t hesitate to shoot me an email.

  1. Very cute button! I am looking forward to reading your posts. I have lots of questions and can’t wait to hear more about your experience. 🙂 Not sure if you plan on discussing this or not, but I’ve been wondering about cost. Obviously I don’t need to know exactly how much it costs (and I know it varies) but maybe a range? Just so I have an idea.

  2. I’ll definitely be following your blog. I love learning about this process, since I too am looking to possibly take the self-publishing route for my first book.

  3. This is a great idea, Elodie. Good luck with this. As a self published author, I would love to hear about other self published author’s journeys and advice on publishing. You never know what you might discover.

  4. Great idea! As someone who plans to self-publish later this year, I’ll be tuning in each Friday. 🙂 And I love your button. I could waste hours upon hours on Picmonkey!

Comments put a smile on my face :-)
