What I’m reading

I’m scaring myself (and doing research at the same time for my NA thrillers) by reading
And I am in the middle of  THROUGH THE EVER NIGHT by Veronica Rossi

What else I´ve been up to

  •  Preparing for the arrival of our dog…we’re now only waiting to hear when we can go and pick him up.
  • 10937362_10103379857255818_221378814_nRe-watching Friends thanks to Netflix.

  • Having fun with Megan Whitmer‘s #vlogagram …you can find me using #Elodievlogagram

What works for me

Trying to get into a schedule…I was oh so productive when I had basically no time and there are two things I noticed that I no longer have a day job.

  1. There are a LOT of things to do inside the house, a LOT and those things take time.
  2. I need to have a schedule to somewhat stick to. It helps me to achieve some of my daily goals.

I can’t wait to check all your posts and see what you’ve been up to 🙂

  1. hello, I’ve been watching friends on Netflix too. I’ve never watched the episodes in order. But I’ve seen most of them. I love it. Thanks for sharing.

    1. I just finished the book about Ted Bundy and it was definitely freaky! The Pivot joke is my hubby’s favorite, every time he says it I have to crack up! Hope you’re having a great day!

    1. It was definitely very intense. Very scary. I can’t wait to pick up Plato — we’re waiting to hear from the foster family… Hope you’re going having a wonderful day!

  2. Thrilled you’ll be picking up your pooch soon! So exciting and fun. Oh yes, I must schedule myself or I’ll get nothing accomplished, especially since I now stay home. Between my four kids and two sets of ailing parents, I can always find something that needs doing.

  3. I didn’t realize the pup was officially yours — congratulations! How is Peter going to take the news of an intruder? 😉 I know I already mentioned reading THE STRANGER BESIDE ME in college, but every time you mention it, I get a fresh rush of chills. Seriously scary! Funny story: My husband’s mom gave it to me to read after she first met me (way back when we were dating) because she decided she liked me and wanted to scare me into being safe. 🙂

  4. Oh, yay! So excited to hear that you guys were approved for the puppy! 😀 He’s adorable! Re: your research reading, I remember flipping through a true crime book that focused on a number of these big names in serial murder and being so completely creeped out that I had to get the book out of my house. 0_o It’s one thing to watch movies/TV shows or read books featuring murder, but actually reading about it in real life…yikes! Scared me silly. So…you are most brave, Elodie!

I only function properly on a schedule. I blame years upon years of schooling for that. Hope you’re schedule is working well for you!

  5. I love that adorable Yoda chew toy! My dog would be very jealous of it. So glad it worked out for you to adopt that sweet little guy! Hope you can get back into a regular writing schedule soon! Have an awesome week! 🙂

  6. I get what you mean about needing a schedule to stick to in order to get writing done. I find I get so much more writing done on days I have to work because I KNOW I only have a certain time to write, as opposed to days when I don’t work and I keep putting it off until later (and then it’s bedtime and I still haven’t written my words for the day; OOPS). Having a set schedule when I finally get a permanent teaching position is one of the things I’m most excited about 🙂
