What I´m reading
I am also beta reading one amazing book. The type of book that gives you flutters because you fall in love with the characters on page 1. No really, SURF & SURRENDER is all that and more.
She wants to forget he ever existed. He’d never give up her memory.
You can pre-order SURF & SURRENDER, just sayin’ 🙂
(Amazon | iBooks | Barnes & Noble | Kobo)
What else I´ve been up to
- Being glued to the TV the entire past week. Spending lots of time on the phone with my parents. Having a tiny spark of hope when seeing so many people from so many different paths getting together on Sunday.
- Recovering from my cold, slowly but surely.
- The hubby and I are also in the process of adopting a rescue dog. We’re crossing our fingers this little boy will become part of our family very soon.

What works for me
To-do lists.
When I worked full-time, they enabled me to make sure I didn’t forget anything…and now that I’m not working they enable me to focus on what needs to be done.
I can’t wait to check all your posts and see what you’ve been up to 🙂
What an adorable dog!!!
Hope your cold is all better soon. Have a great week.
I love to do lists too. And oh my god, that dog is the cutest! Have a great writing week.
My What’s Up Wednesday post.
I rely on to-do lists to keep track of everything in my life. Have a great week! 🙂
I’ve been thinking about you and the people of Paris all week, horrified by the goings on there. I hope we’ve seen the end of it. On a lighter note, I’m very excited for you at the prospect of adopting a puppy. He’s truly adorable! As I’m sure you know, I’m a total to-do list junkie. I don’t think I could function without lists lol. Hope you’re feeling 100% better this week! 😀
I can’t let my kids see that picture! They’ll be bugging for months. Very cute dog. Good luck! And I agree with the to-do lists thing. I can’t believe how much it makes a difference in my life when I make a to-do list. Have a lovely week!
I’m a big fan of to-do lists too!
I definitely need to read some Riley Edgewood. I’ve heard nothing but good about her.
I do love a To-Do list especially if it’s on pretty paper, although I tend to make mine on scarps of paper for some odd reason!
Fingers crossed you get your dog 🙂
Have a good week.
Cute dog! It’s so important to adopt animals who already need homes, instead of keeping puppy mills and pet stores in business.
Good luck with the adoption; your four-legged friend looks adorable. To-do lists work for me, too.
Have a great week.
What a little sweetheart! Our dog, Holly, is a rescue, and she’s given us many years of happiness. I hope everything works out for you and your hubby to add this little guy to your family! Glad to hear you’re on the mend! Have a super week! 🙂
Under the Never Sky is currently in my Library-books-I-must-read-and-return pile!
Awww….crossing my fingers that you all get to adopt that pup. I’ve got two rescue cats that are the best things ever 🙂
Hope you feel better soon!
Oh, that sweet and adorable DOG!!! I hope you get to adopt! Also, yes – SURF AND SURRENDER? Swoon!!!
