What I´m reading
And I´m really enjoying it!
What I’m Writing
What inspires me right now
So many things…but I´ll focus on this quote
(even though I posted it last week on my brand new Facebook page :-))
This conversation with my husband. I think it might deserve an entire post at some point. He´s very encouraging and was mainly joking but it got me thinking, hence future post
And this wonderful wonderful package received on Monday.
I can’t wait to check all your posts and see what you’ve been up to 🙂
Your Valentine’s Day weekend sounds amazing! Sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. I hope you’re feeling much better soon and that you can catch up on those goals! 🙂
Thanks, Erin! My Valentine’s Day was pretty amazing 🙂 And I feel much better so that’s great :-)) Hope you’re having a great week!

Sorry you’ve been sick, Elodie–I hope you’re feeling better. I managed to take my wife out to supper for V-Day. Not nearly as romantic as a hotel by the Rhine, but I do what I can here in Eastern North Carolina. 🙂
All the best with writing and revisions this week! 🙂
Love that quote from Melina Marchetta!
And I’m so glad the package arrived safely (it was pretty speedy, too!).
I totally missed that tweet about your book on GR and your husband’s comment about choking… Made me laugh. Our husbands would get along so very well! Looks like you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day, Elodie. Enjoy the rest of your week!
Revisions and drafting, that’s a lot work! Congrats on adding your novel to Good Reads, that’s so exciting!
I love that you are enjoying my book. I can’t wait to hear what you think of it when you’re done. And I also can’t wait to read your book when it comes out. Good luck with not choking, and have a great week!
Oh, I love that JELLICOE ROAD quote! So, so true and perfectly appropriate to your decision to take control of your publishing experience. Hmm…might have to print that one off!
Your Valentine’s weekend sounds wonderful. Todd headed back to work that day, so we didn’t really get to celebrate the day, but it’s not really a big deal. We tend to do a lot of dates, so I don’t feel like I missed out on much. I’m glad you were able to get away for a bit and relax with hubby. 🙂
Sounds like you had a great V-Day weekend! My hubs got me my fave- chocolate covered strawberries! And he booked a babysitter which was a first for him!
I’m glad you’re liking COUNTING TO D! It’s a great read.
And congrats on your decision to self-pub! That’s so exciting! I love that conversation with your husband. Sounds exactly like something mine would say. 🙂
What a great way to spend Valentines Day! Go super hubbie!! 🙂
And I love the quote you posted. I need to remember to do that too. So many times we wait for wonderful things to happen, without going out and actively making them happen.
Good luck with all the revising and drafting. Hope you have a fantastic week!
First – Valentine’s day along the Rhine? Um, wow! Sounds amazing. 🙂 I’m very curious to read this post you’re thinking of writing … Best of luck with the revisions!
