Spreading the word…or news about my super talented friends.

I hurt my back yesterday. Yesterday around 3pm. Mopping. I decided I’ll never mop again. Today is the 1th of July which means, it’s Bastille Day, which means I’m thinking even more about France ❤

Anyways, so many of my awesome writer friends have news that I thought I’ll do a quick round-up post.

  • Jen Malone’s book MAP TO THE STARS is out

And you guys. This book. Is. So. Good! I read an early version of it (yes I know, I’m super lucky) and you all want to meet Graham ❤ Plus, it’s a perfect summer read. Well, actually, it’s a pretty perfect every season read as long as you enjoy fun and romantic books. And it’s only $1.99 (Amazon)

Can one down-to-earth girl plus a very famous boy and a whole lot of paparazzi ever add up to a perfect Hollywood ending?

Seventeen-year-old Annie Shelton isn’t sure why her mom thinks moving to Hollywood will allow them to escape the drama of their small-time life in Georgia, but she’s along for the ride. When Annie’s mom snags a gig as makeup artist to a teen movie idol and finagles a spot for Annie to accompany her on his European promotional tour, Annie’s pretty sure she’ll be fangirling over architectural sights rather than teen heartthrob Graham Cabot.

But then of course she actually meets him. As Graham and Annie fall for each other in the most romantic cities in the world, Annie realizes that this turn of events may not be quite as glamorous as she thought. Instead of red carpets and celebrity couple names, they are navigating a minefield of keeping secrets from Graham’s fans, overprotective assistant, stage “momager,” and beefy bodyguard. And when the paparazzi make an appearance, Annie has to decide whether their love is worth the harsh glare of the flashbulb.

  • Elizabeth Briggs not only has a gorgeous cover for MORE THAN FASHION, she also has e-ARCs for review

I love the story behind the cover of MORE THAN FASHION by Elizabeth Briggs, how she set up a photo shoot to make sure this cover happened (the entire story is on Dahlia’s blog)…and if you’d like to read and review it and/or help her spread the word, don’t hesitate to check out all details here.

SURF & SURRENDER (A SUMMER LOVE NOVEL #2)
(Available February 23rd, 2015)

She wants to forget he ever existed. He’d never give up her memory.

Quinn Westwood is completely over Sawyer Carson. He broke her heart years ago and disappeared from her life without a word. So yeah. She’s over him. Never even thinks of him. In fact, she’s spending her college summer break surfing and lifeguarding in the Outer Banks, while nursing a bruised heart from a differentrelationship gone wrong. She doesn’t have room in her mind or heart for Sawyer–until she runs into him at a beach bonfire and the sparks that fly between them are way hotter than the flames heating the sand.

Sawyer never got over Quinn. The only thing stronger than what he feels for her is the secret keeping them apart, but sharing it would destroy more than just his life–it’d ruin hers, as well. Still, he can’t seem to keep away from her, can’t seem to keep his hands off of her soft, tempting skin. Especially since she has even less self-control when it comes to reigniting the physical side of what made them perfect together.

But secrets have a way of slipping out, and when Sawyer’s is revealed, it threatens to shatter everyone involved. He’ll have to face walking away a second time, and Quinn will have to decide if fighting for him is worth it when the fallout could affect more than just her heart, but also those of the people she loves most.

MORE THAN COMICSMORE THAN COMICS (CHASING THE DREAM #2)

They’re friends online – but can they be more in real life?

Writer Tara McFadden has been friends with artist and drummer Hector Fernandez for years, long before his band became famous on reality TV – yet they’ve never met in person. They finally have a chance to connect offline when they’re both sent to Comic-Con to promote the graphic novel they collaborated on.

Hector’s secretly been in love with Tara for as long as he can remember, and once they meet, she sees him in a new light. All the years of longing lead to an incredible night of passion after one of his concerts, but neither is sure if their online relationship can translate into a real life romance – or if this will ruin their friendship forever.

Over four crazy days at Comic-Con, Hector and Tara must decide if they want a future together. But when their story seems to be over, it’s up to Hector’s entire band to make sure he and Tara get their happy ending.
