What I’m reading

I just started THE LIST. I am probably going to have many thoughts about this book and I’m looking forward to set some time aside to read it.
THE LIST

What else I´ve been up to

  • Using my new planner. During our writing retreat, we started talking about planners, especially Erin Condren’s planners and I received mine last week. LOVE IT!
  • Taking care of Plato The Dog. He broke part of a nail two nights ago, he’s not in pain and lets me clean his paw. So yesterday, we took it easy…2015-02-17_1424205940
  • One of our neighbors is raising money for charities while selling beautiful jewelry.  Her husband is running the Vermont 100k this July. He is raising money for the Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports program. This program empowers individuals with disabilities throughout the year, to enjoy sports and recreation  I’ve received my earrings on Friday and I LOVE THEM. You can find more info here.earrings

What works for me

Each night, I try to write 3 things I’m grateful for in my planner. It’s a way to help focus on the positive and I find that it works for me.

I can’t wait to check all your posts and see what you’ve been up to 🙂

  1. That’s a really great idea—writing things that you’re grateful for. I was doing that at the start of the year but totally forgot about it *headdesk*

I hope your dog is okay, he’s super cute and it’s the worse when they hurt themselves.

  2. I know I should have a planner, but I’m too lazy and spontaneous to actually use one. I’d probably have a much more organised life and schedule if I did have one, though.

  3. I really like the planner idea. Sometimes I forget why I put myself through the stress. But I know all my hard work will pay off someday. Thanks for sharing. 😀

  4. The List was a great concept for a book. I think it’s a great one for teen readers to illustrate how damaging bullying can be, and the nuanced layers with how girls in particular react to harassment.

  5. I still need to read THE LIST. I enjoyed the BURN FOR BURN series (until the epilogue), which Siobhan Vivian co-authored with Jenny Han, so I would definitely like to read something by Vivian alone. You’ll have to let us know what you think!

Can’t wait for my Erin Condren planner to arrive! It should be shipping this week. Woohoo! 😀 You ladies have created a monster. 😉 Have a wonderful week, Elodie!

  6. I’ve had a copy of THE LIST for ages but have yet to read it. One of these days! The concept sounds really intriguing with all those different POVs.

You and Plato look so cozy! Hope his nail heals up nicely! 🙂
