And….I´m back…<3

First of all the winner of my HYSTERIA giveaway is: Kip!!!….and the winner of FRACTURE is Jaime 😀 Thanks so much for commenting everyone!

So..Hubby and I have been moving for the past weeks…This meant: endless boxes, the hard discovery that I have no arms´ muscles (really, my upper body strength sucks :-)), trips to Ikea, building new furniture…and absolutely no time for blogging. We were very lucky that hubby´s family came to help us out last weekend. I was sad not to go back home to France like every Easter but this had to be done.

And I missed you. I really did. You know it´s funny how you can really connect with people you´ve technically never met? I missed talking about writing and books and life and TV shows and movies and the weather and small things and big things.

We still have boxes everywhere, we don´t have yet any phone, cable or internet but we´re moved into our new place. I can walk now to the train station. You guys, WALK! No more waiting for the bus or running to catch the bus or getting aggravated because the bus is late hence I miss my train. And it´s a nice walk through the park.

I´ll save between 20 and 30 minutes each day (sometimes even a bit more). And I won´t lose any writing time! 😀 My goal for this week is to reach 34k in my new WiP.

Here are a few pictures of our moving time…

Thanks Ghenet! Time is really priceless…and leaving the house this morning at 7am was such a treat (even if my train ended up being cancelled lol :P)…I get excited about being able to put a load of laundry in in the morning and emptying the dishwasher 🙂

How have you been doing? How is your WiP coming along? How about the querying world?

Welcome back, lovely! It seems the move went smoothly… Now all you have to do is unpack! Glad to have you posting again. 🙂

    • Elodie says:

Thanks Katy! Definitely missed you!!!! And glad to be back…The move went quite well and while our place isn’t yet entirely “moved in” we’re already feeling at home…How have you been doing?

    • Elodie says:

My MIL and the aunt of my hubby told me about “suprise boxes” as some were not labelled and we moved things we had meant to throw out or give away…So unpacking will definitely be fun 😀 We already feel quite at home in our new place which is quite exciting 😀

    • Elodie says:

Thanks Erin 😀 Settling in will be fun and we’re already feeling quite at home…Being able to leave later in the morning and coming back a bit earlier is also giving me a new boost of energy! 😀 Hope you’re doing well!

For some weird reason, my RSS feed reader didn’t tell me you posted. Bad RSS reader! Anyway, it’s GREAT to have you back! We’ve missed having you around, lady! And thanks for the book! (I’m kind of on an exclamation point kick you’ll notice. 😉 ) The funny thing is, I almost bought a copy of FRACTURE the other day. Good thing I didn’t!

I’m happy your move went so smoothly and that you guys can get settled into your new place. It sounds great! 🙂

    • Elodie says:

Bad RSS feed bad 😀 And I’m so happy to be back… 😀 I’ll send you the book very shortly (and a loooong update email as well!) How is ANNIE doing? how are YOU doing? 😀 (and no I didn’t sound like Joey from Friends while asking that last question hahaha)

  4. You know, I just thought the other day, “Gee, it’s been a while since Elodie’s posted…wonder what’s up?” Glad to hear the move went well, and that the new place is good! How’s the kitty taking to it? And sounds like the new WiP is going along swimmingly as well! Go you!

    • Elodie says:

😀 Ive been also really sporadic the weeks before the move, hoping to blog more regularly now. How is your WiP coming along? How is teaching? The new place is definitely great! Kitty is taking it okay. Hes still getting used to it though and exploring which is fun to watch 😀
